In-Home Postpartum Doula Support

Those first weeks with a newborn are some of the most intense, exhausting, and beautiful days of your life. You shouldn't have to navigate them alone — especially when feeding is challenging, recovery is hard, and everyone is running on fumes.
Willow's postpartum doula support brings an RN, IBCLC, and Certified Doula into your home — someone who can help with feeding, newborn care, light household tasks, and the emotional support that makes all the difference. It's the support you wish you had, and the expertise you didn't know you needed.
This is for families who want more than a lactation consult — they want someone who can stay, help, and hold space for the whole transition into parenthood.

Frequently asked questions
A postpartum doula provides non-medical support in your home during the postpartum period. This includes feeding support and education, newborn care guidance, light household tasks (like tidying the kitchen or starting a load of laundry), running errands, and emotional support. The focus is on helping you recover and adjust — not on "doing it all for you."
A lactation consult is focused specifically on feeding and typically lasts 60-90 minutes. Postpartum doula support is broader and ongoing — feeding help is part of it, but so is newborn care, household support, and being present for the whole transition. Think of it as extended, in-home support rather than a single appointment.
Every family is different. Some need a few visits to get through a tough patch; others want weekly support for the first 6-8 weeks. Willow will help you assess your needs and find a rhythm that works for your family and budget.
Willow primarily offers daytime and early evening support. For overnight postpartum care, she can refer you to trusted overnight doula colleagues in the Bend area.
Yes — part of postpartum doula support can include helping with the transition for older siblings, age-appropriate activities, and giving you one-on-one time with the baby while someone capable engages the older kids.
That's completely fine. Support is flexible — whether you need a one-time 4-hour visit to get through a tough week, or ongoing weekly support, Willow will work with your needs.
Postpartum doula support is generally not covered by insurance at this time. HSA funds may be applicable — check with your provider. Cash pay options are available, and Willow can discuss pricing based on your needs.
