How it works
What is an IBCLC?
An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is the highest credential in lactation care. IBCLCs must complete hundreds of hours of clinical experience, pass a rigorous international exam, and maintain certification through continuing education. They can help with everything from painful latches and low supply to tongue-ties, pumping, and weaning — and they know when to refer you to a doctor.
Every Kalvie consultant is independently verified as IBCLC-certified.
