1. Not medical advice

Kalvie is an educational tool, not a medical device or service. The content on this site — including symptom checks, guides, and tools — is for informational purposes only and is based on general clinical guidelines (including ABM Protocol #36, 2022). It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician, lactation consultant, or other qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.

2. Emergency situations

If you are experiencing a medical emergency — including high fever, severe breast pain, red streaks, flu-like symptoms, or signs of abscess — seek immediate medical attention or call emergency services. Do not rely on this site in an emergency.

3. Use of the site

You agree to use Kalvie for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use this site to transmit harmful code, spam, or unlawful content.

4. IBCLC directory and booking

Kalvie provides a platform for IBCLCs to present their services. We do not employ, vet, or guarantee the quality of any IBCLC listed on this site. All interactions, bookings, and payments are between you and the IBCLC directly. Kalvie is not a party to any consultation or service agreement.

5. Content accuracy

While we strive to keep content accurate and up-to-date, medical guidelines change. We do not warrant that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Content is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kalvie shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
